He said that actresses and models who don bikinis and do lip-locking scenes are anyway considered as classy and are well paid so why create such an issue about his wife sporting a bikini or doing bold scenes.

In the rage to this controversy of Dimpy’s image, the director of her film revealed, "She did some bold scenes in the Jeet-Priyanka Trivedi-starrer Hello Memsaheb. She has also done an item number somewhat similar to Mallika Sherawat's Maiyya Maiyya track from Guru."
Stated to be quite a bindaas babe who has no issues in any outfit, the make-up artiste shed light by adding, "Dimpy is quite a bindaas babe, without any inhibitions and was cool about doing any kind of scene and wearing anything the director wanted her to do. Once she came to Aqua (club) wearing casuals, removed that to reveal a bikini, and jumped into the pool! She was second runner-up in the Sananda Tilottama (a beauty pageant organised by the magazine edited by Aparna Sen) in 2007. She is a party animal.”
It may be recalled that Rakhi Sawant, the season one celebrity of NDTV Imagine, had refused to marry the winner of the show on the appointed date and finally got only engaged to him.
