Priyanka Chopra left for Bangkok on November 16 late night for the filming of her new film Anjaana Anjaani with co-star Ranbir Kapoor.
The Siddharth Anand helmed Sajid Nadiadwala production is a love story of two strangers. Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir have never met in real life and the director ensured that the pair meet as strangers on the set so that the stranger element will be captured on camera.
Ranbir and Priyanka are the only two characters in the film and they are seen together through out the film apart from some passers-by. There were no rehearsals or workshop for the film.
Talking about her new project, the 27-year-old Kaminey star told CNN-IBN, "It is a love story between two strangers; one is stranger than the other, that's why the film is called Anjaana Anjaani. It's a totally unconventional love story between Ranbir and me, and that's what really interested me about the movie."
Priyanka said she is excited as well as nervous to be back on the set after a gap of one month, when she completed filming for Pyaar Impossible, a Yash Raj Films' production with co-star Uday Chopra. Last week Priyanka got her international driver's license for her shoot in the US.
Filming will begin in Bangkok followed by New York, San Jose, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Mumbai.
"The film begins shooting on December 11 and ends on December 31. It's also in sync sound. So Ranbir and Priyanka need to be fully prepared when the camera rolls," said Anand.
On arrival at Bangkok Priyanka booked in the same hotel where she stayed during filming of Pyaar Impossible.

Priyanka's next pending projects include Vishal Bhardwaj's Seven and Farhan Akhtar's Don 2 with co-star Shah Rukh Khan.
Priyanka is scheduled to appear on the Verve cover end of this year.
