A story about "dreams", Vipul Shah’s London Dreams deals with the life of two friends who want to rock the world with their music. So, we have rock stars in the form of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in the movie and connecting these two close friends is the music.
A mega budget movie made on an astronomical amount of approx Rs 120 crores, ‘London Dreams’ has music by fantabulous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Lyrics are by adman Prasoon Joshi. So, just like its theme and the budget, does ‘London Dreams’ have really great chartbusters lined up for us.
In London Dreams, Ajay will be seen essaying a rock singer with negative shades. This movie also stars Salman Khan in the lead role with Asin essaying the role of the female lead.

Arjun diligently pursued his dream, at the risk of running away from an uncle who was his only family in an unfamiliar land and roaming the streets of London before taking shelter in a music shop and priming himself until he's ready to make his foray into the world of music and showmanship.
But when he gets Mannu to London and makes him a part of the band, Arjun soon realizes he's created the biggest threat and obstacle to his own ambitions.
For, Mannu, with his inherent musical gift and irreverent style of performing, becomes an instant darling of the crowds. What has taken Arjun years to achieve, Mannu does overnight. It causes Arjun to feel betrayed by the God to whom he'd surrendered everything in return for eminence in music.
About Asin's role in London Dreams :
We’ve seen Asin dancing on-screen but very few people known that Asin is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and started learning the art when she was barely three years old. Vipul Shah decided to include this aspect of her personality on screen for London Dreams. Asin’s character in the film is very close to her real life. The actress plays a conservative South Indian girl who has grown up on Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam.
This movie, from the maker of Namastey London and Waqt, is in short a powerful drama with the perfect blend of passion, ambition, envy and realization. With a wonderful cast, this movie is one of the most expected movies of 2009. With the songs of the movie already doing a great job, let us see if the movie is able to charm the audience!
