Box office Update on recent movies..

The biggies have again failed to attract masses. If London Dreams managed an average collection of 55-60% on the first day, Aladin had a dull opening and witnessed only 10-12% collection. As far as ‘Aladin’ goes, the movie has to struggle really hard to at least make up for its production costs. It collected around Rs 4.35 crore in its first weekend. Nevertheless, kids are loving the movie, if not their parents.

However, according to reports, ‘London Dreams’ can garner better collection but a lot depends on this weekend. The film can face tough competition from Rajkumar Santoshi’s cute love story "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani" and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail.

On the contrary, comedy has done its trick at the BO; "All The Best" is still doing good in it’s second week with around Rs 13 crore collection. The film has now collected approx Rs 35 crore in two weeks. The collections of Blue continue to dip in the second week with business around only Rs 8 crore.

The box-office sunshine, "Wake Up Sid", picks up again in its fourth week and has done business of around Rs 1.75 crore. The movie is a semi hit now.
