Shilpa's all set for Wedding on Nov 22 @ Khandala

Shamita and Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra wedding date is set. But very few invites are out.. As it is going to be a very private but lavish occasion in Khandala (Hill station near Mumbai) It’s on November 22, at Shilpa’s friend and business partner Kiran Bawa’s bungalow in Khandala, a quiet and private affair preceded by sangeet and mehendi at which the guest list would be restricted to just close friends and family.

Apparently, not a single classy venue was available in Mumbai during this wedding season. Revealed the source, Raj and Shilpa had decided the wedding would be in Mumbai and not in London. Ideally, they would have liked to have it at their new home in Juhu, but it isn’t ready yet. Alas..money can't buy the wedding spot ? The couple didn’t want to put off their wedding plans any longer. Understandably so !

Will Shamita be able to attend the wedding ?

Shilpa wants the blessings and presence of all her near and dear ones. It is yet to be known, whether family will include sister and bridesmaid Shamita Shetty. The Shetty sibling is locked up in the Bigg Boss 3 house with other not-so-famous and out-of-work characters and is unaware of the developments in her sister’s life. Shamita even did not know that Shilpa got engaged to Raj and neither had she known that Shilpa is tying the knot in November. Shilpa’s marriage was supposed to take place in December and Shamita thought that by that time the show will wind up.

But the question arises whether the producers will allow Shamita to attend the wedding and get back to the house... or whether Shamita will purposely engineer her ouster and, after the wedding, seek reentry on a wild card. Good plan I guess.

Anyways, more on the wedding: The sangeet and mehendi will be Punjabi style and the saat pheras, South Indian. And Bollywood’s bold and beautiful need not slyly ask each other, “Aati kya Khandala?” because Shilpa’s not inviting anybody from the industry over. For them, there is going to be a lavish reception in Mumbai on November 24. Gatecrashers beware!
