After making her B'wood debut with Feroz Khan's 'Janasheen' (2003), this former Miss India went on to act in block busters such as 'No Entry, 'Golmaal Returns' and 'Heyy Baby'. Come 2010, and she would be seen sharing the screen with Orlando Bloom and Sean Connery in Ken Khan's 'Quest of Scheherezade'.
Celina was crowned Femina Miss India Universe in 2001. She finished fifthat Miss Universe 2001.
Her favourite designers are Donatella Versace, Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar and Vikram Phadnis.
Celina's dream roles are the that of the female leads in 'Pakeezah', 'Umrao Jaan', 'Kaagaz Ke Phool', 'Mughal-e-Azam', 'Chandani', 'Lamhe', 'Naagin', 'Saagar' aqnd 'Padosan'
Celina grew up in several cities, including Lucknow, where she attended City Monetessori school. She also studied in Berhampur, Orissa when her father was posted there. She has spent most of her time in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is a Hindu by faith. She has said that when she was young, she wanted to join the army, either as a doctor or a pilot. She graduated with a degree in commerce from Indira Gandhi National Open University
