"There is a lot of action in the film and it is going to be mind-blowing. Mind you, it has all been done by me and not by a body double," Salman has told.
The movie, which revolves around gang wars and crimes of Mumbai, will see Salman donning the shirt of an action hero five years after ‘Garv - Pride And Honor’.
The movie, which is being produced by Boney Kapoor, will mark the entry of Prabhu Deva as a director in Bollywood.
"'Wanted' has a good mix of romance, comedy, music, songs and, obviously, action. The film caters to all kinds of audiences but I won't call it a commercial potboiler. It is much more than that," Kapoor said.
The movie, which will see Ayesha Takia as the female lead, is the remake of 2006 Telugu hit, ‘Pokiri, which had been remade under the same name by Prabhu Deva casting ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay in the lead role.
Radhe, essayed by Salman Khan, will be the arrogant hit-man of Gani Bhai, enacted by Prakash Raj. He will be one of the most dreaded of all the dons. Radhe works for his and in the process makes more foes for himself.
Radhe is absolutely fearless personalityand with his intelligent mind he successfully eliminates Gani Bhai's enemies one by one; making more enemies in the process than he bargained for. He is shocked when the young and beautiful Janhvi confesses her liking for him.
The movie takes a turn with the police commissioner Ashraf Khan vowing to make the city crime-free and starts his campaign by arresting 200 criminals in a single day. Inspectors Talpade's wants to have Janhvi desperately .He was unaware of the fact that Janhvi has developed feelings for Radhe. The movie shows the gangwar of gangs like GoldeN gang or Data Pawle's. Everyone is trying to capture the lucrative Mumbai zone and the only way to get it is to get rid of whoever comes in the way. As Mumbai reels under bloody gang wars, Commissioner Ashraf Khan's tries to make the city crime free and starts his campaign to fight gangsters and arrested 200 criminals includingRadhe( Salman Khan).
Surprisingly, Radhe tops the hit list of Gani Bhai as well as Khan. The gangster wants him to be dead, as Radhe knows in and out about him whereas the police want him alive for capturing the don.
With his renowned macho-image, Salman Khan is back into action with the ‘Wanted - Dead Or Alive’, which is scheduled to hit the theatres soon. The movie which is directed by ace choreographer-turned-director, Prabhu Deva, promises "mind-blowing" fight sequences.
